How It Works - Incognito Research involves our designating a small team of interviewers "Shoppers", who proceed to contact our client companies and competitors as potential customers in order to test CRM and sales processes. Shoppers are recruited on the basis of category knowledge and experience, and are carefully instructed in their roles as typical customers. They rate each company in the category on a set of predetermined attributes, and comment on their experiences. Then they are interviewed as customers by our staff, and these results are incorporated into the research.

Priceless Competitive Intelligence - Incognito research is a powerful way to get a very objective view of a company's brand and its direct interactions with customers. It's also very useful in the context of other research, to contrast viewpoints and validate commonalities.

Proprietary Interface - We've developed a custom application to manage the research and allow clients, managers, and interviewers access to the findings at any time during the research.

Research Design
We work collaboratively with clients to design each Incognito research project, including attributes, Shopper qualifications and scripts, and competitor lists.

Shopper Recruitment
We develop incentives, recruiting mechanisms, and scheduling systems for Incognito Shoppers, and hire and manage them throughout the research.

Data and Transcript Collection
We collect full text transcripts, audio and visual material, and quantitative data for all interviews.

Collection of Competitor Marcom
We collect all competitors' marketing and sales communications delivered to Shoppers.

We provide detailed analyses of all Incognito research findings.
